Dr. Wei-Chen Hung grew up in Taiwan, where he earned a nursing degree from National Taiwan University. He began his career caring for patients on the wards of National Taiwan University Hospital, an experience that shaped his compassionate, detail-oriented approach to medicine. His love for animals then led him to New Zealand, where he earned his veterinary degree from Massey University. Dr. Hung brings his background in human nursing to every visit, partnering closely with pet owners to keep their companions happy and healthy. He is excited to join the Mercy Pet Hospital team and the Citrus Heights community.
