More Than a One-Time Visit

Choosing to spay or neuter your pet is an important step toward a healthier, happier life—and when you do it with us, you’re also building a relationship with a team that’s here for you every step of the way.

Unlike stand-alone clinics, we’re a full-service veterinary hospital that’s ready to support your pet’s unique needs now and for years to come. From routine wellness visits to emergencies, dental care to senior comfort, you’ll always have trusted care under one roof.

We’re proud to offer low cost spay & neuter services.

What’s Included

The following services are included as a part of your pet’s spay/neuter procedure:

  • The surgical procedure itself
  • IV catheter, IV fluids, and analgesic injection
  • Local pain block medication
  • E-collar (cone of shame—yes, it’s necessary!)
  • Inhalant anesthesia medication (first 30 minutes and if any additional is needed)

Promotion Requirements

  • All pets must complete a presurgical exam. This required exam:
    • Evaluates your pet’s health for surgery
    • Discusses the procedure, post-op care, and pricing
    • If you proceed with surgery, you’ll receive an additional $35 credit on your surgery invoice
  • Pets must be under 5 years old and under 80 pounds
  • Routine surgeries only (no pregnancies, in heat dogs, cryptorchidism, or pyometra)

Additional Costs (not included)

Some items are not included in the low cost spay/neuter procedure and may be required based on your pet’s health.

  • Take-home pain medications (this is required and cannot be declined)
  • Cerenia anti-nausea injection (optional but encouraged)
  • If after your pet’s exam and at the time of surgery they are found to be pregnant, in heat, obese or cryptorchid, additional fees will apply.

*These potential costs will be added to the estimate for pet parents to be aware of, but will only be charged if applicable.

  • Pre-anesthetic lab work:
    • Blood panel
    • Heart worm test
    • FeLV/FIV (cats)
    • ProBNP (feline heart disease screening)
*Some lab work and heartworm test may be required for some pets as determined by the doctor examining the patient. This will be discussed with the pet parent during the presurgical exam and the pet parent will be made aware whether this will be required or optional. It will be on the high end of all estimates as it is always recommended.
  • Additional injections, sedatives, or calming meds
  • Microchip, tattoo, or nail trim (optional add-ons)

The doctor will walk you through any recommended or required services during your presurgical exam so you can plan accordingly.
